WPT Global has added another popular poker player to its ever-growing team of ambassadors. Dipping its proverbial toe into the streaming community, WPT Globalā€™s marketing team is hoping to make a splash with Patrick ā€˜Egptionā€™ Tardif.

Patrick ā€˜Egptionā€™ Tardif will use his popular Twitch stream to entertain, educate, and promote poker in his new role as WPT Global ambassador. (Image: WPT Global)Like successful players before him, Tardif transitioned from gaming to poker. Now, in the same vein as Bertrand ā€˜ElkYā€™ Grospellier et al., heā€™s built up a fanbase almost as big as his bankroll.

Tardif Can Entertain, Engage, and Play

With a following and personality to match, Tardif caught the eye of WPT Globalā€™s marketing team. Commenting on the signing, WPT Globalā€™s Cameron Dhaliwal described it as a double coup.

ā€œWe are delighted Patrick has joined our team. He will undoubtedly add to WPT Global with his expertise and incredible consistency in creating top-tier online poker content,ā€ Dhaliwal said.

Indeed, itā€™s this ability to win over $5 million online while communicating his thought processes in an entertaining way thatā€™s gained Tradif over 54,000 Twitch followers. Although he jokes on Twitter that he was ā€œhired for his good looks and for being a Twitch Streaming extraordinaire,ā€ Tardif understands his assignment.

WPT Global has been one of the worldā€™s leading poker sites for recreational players since it launched in 2022. As well as providing satellites to WPT live events, the site is skewed towards amateurs thanks to policies that include a limit on the number of ā€œpro playersā€ who can sit down in cash games.

The aim, as stated, is to create a place where players at all levels can ā€œlearn, play, improve and win.ā€ Patrick ā€˜Egptionā€™ Tardif is perfectly positioned to promote these qualities to his Twitch followers and, moreover, the poker community as a whole.

ā€œWPT Globalā€™s commitment to innovation and delivering a world-class poker experience aligns perfectly with my passion for the game. I canā€™t wait to start connecting with the community and battle in the huge tournaments & cash games WPT Global has to offer.ā€

Tardifā€™s educational and entertaining streams will slot into WPT Globalā€™s existing stable of ambassador-led content from the likes of Ethan ā€˜Rampageā€™ Yau.

WPT Global Continues to Thrive

The announcement of Tardifā€™s signing aligned with the news that Xuan Liu will continue her tenure with WPT Global.

The experienced pro is a firm fixture in pokerā€™s biggest live events and will continue to represent the brand alongside WPT Globalā€™s team of ambassadors, including star-signing, Phil Ivey.

As a collective, WPT Globalā€™s ambassadors will be part of the next push towards the season-ending World Championship.

Like previous years, WPT Global will send hundreds of players to the WPT World Championship at the Wynn Las Vegas through various promotions and satellites. This year will be no exception, with $12,400 passports up for grabs every Sunday until the 2024 WPT World Championship gets underway.
