Stacked WPT Premier Meet-Up Game Adds Phil Hellmuth Patrik Antonius – World Poker Tour
Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme’s WPT Meet-Up Games hit another level on Dec. 1, as Phil Hellmuth and Patrik Antonius join a deep roster of stars who will be playing cash games at Wynn Las Vegas.

Since Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme signed on as ambassadors for the World Poker Tour earlier this year, they have helped launch an increasingly eye-popping series of meet-up games around the world where poker players can mix it up with both the hosts and some of the biggest names in the history of the game.
Everything hits an entirely different level on Thursday, Dec. 1 at Wynn Las Vegas, though. In addition to previously announced icons like Phil Ivey and Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and Patrik Antonius are now joining the fray.
“This will be my first meet-up game experience with WPT. I’m looking forward to sitting down to play and seeing what all the hype is about,” said Antonius. “I think what Brad and Andrew have created for the poker community is exceptional.”
Hellmuth, the 16-time WSOP bracelet winner and Antonius, the nosebleed cash game expert who has a $1 million WPT tournament cash to his name, have both played at some of the highest stakes that poker has to offer. Now they’ll be in the mix in a series of $1/3 and $2/5 No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha games.
They’ll be joined by WPT Ambassadors Ivey, Brunson, and DJ Steve Aoki, as well as WPT on-air talent including Lynn Gilmartin, Vince Van Patten, and Tony Dunst.
And not only will lower-stakes poker players get to play with these legends, but there will also be opportunities to win some incredible prizes. Any player who plays an all-in and call pot with a WPT Ambassador will enter a raffle to win one of four $10,400 seats to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
“When Andrew and I put the first Meet-Up Game together with the vlog watchers who happened to be in town…we never thought we’d see the day poker icons like Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, and Patrick Antonius would be coming to play them,” said Owen. “This MUG is going to be epic.
