David Baker, Jeremy Becker, Bing Weng Among Wynn Fall Classic Champions

The Wynn Fall Classic on the Las Vegas Strip wrapped Oct. 29 with more than $3 million paid out over 28 days of poker action.

There were a number of high-profile poker players who took home the iconic Wynn Las Vegas replica trophies (and won a bunch of money), including David "ODB" Baker, David Pham, and the top tournament player in the world this year, Bin Weng.

"The Dragon" Kicks it Off with a Win

The annual series began Oct. 2 with the $600 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, which featured a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. By the end of registration, there were 434 players signed up and $222,510 in the pot.

When all was said and done, poker legend David "The Dragon" Pham had all the chips after defeating Paul Lui heads-up. Pham, who now has over $11.3 million in live tournament cashes according to The Hendon Mob, received $42,884 and one of the coolest trophies in poker.

Pham has been one of the top performers in the world over the years in World Poker Tour (WPT) and World Series of Poker (WSOP) events, cashing for more than $5.4 million between the two major tours.

Wynn Crusher Wins

Jeremy Becker is a legend at Wynn, having won 12 daily tournaments at the Las Vegas Strip casino this year. But the local poker pro hadn't won one of those replica trophies until the 2023 Fall Classic.

Becker took down a $400 No-Limit Hold'em event for $32,158, beating out 491 entrants. He now has $1,179,424 in The Hendon Mob results. This past spring, he won eight tournaments over a one-month period at the Wynn. The consistent winner defeated Lee Rzentkowski heads-up for the Fall Classic title, while Pham ran deep again and finished in third place ($15,899).

Pham also added two other small cashes during the series, including a 16th place finish ($7,433) in the $1,600 Championship event.

Weng and Baker Continue Crushing

Three-time WSOP bracelet winner David "ODB" Baker and Bin Weng, who has been pretty much unstoppable in tournament poker since January, each won a trophy at the 2023 Wynn Fall Classic.

Baker, who has over $7.2 million in live tournament cashes, conquered a $600 No-Limit Hold'em event for $42,581, outlasting a field of 438 entrants. Becker also reached the final table, but settled for ninth place and a $4,067 payday.

Weng, champion of the $10,500 buy-in WPT EveryOne for One Drop during the 2023 Wynn Summer Classic for $2,227,054, captured another title at Wynn during the month of October. This one was much smaller $159,078 in a $1,600 Mystery Bounty but still significant.

Entering the year, the Philadelphia area resident had $1.9 million in live tournament cashes dating back to 2015. He's now at nearly $7.5 million for his career thanks to a dream year on the felt. Weng beat out 860 entrants in the Mystery Bounty, one of the most popular tournament variants these days thanks to the Wynn's innovative thinking a few years back.

Other notable players to claim Wynn Fall Classic titles include David Jackson, Jeff "Boski" Sluzinski, and Nicholas Pupillo.

Jackson, who beat Phil Hellmuth heads-up for a 2022 WSOP bracelet, took down the $1,600 Championship event, a $1 million guaranteed tournament, for $189,298.
