The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) rolls on with the next stop on its Destination RunGood tour at Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, MS. The six-day event will run from February 27-March 3 and its $600 Main Event will offer three opening flights and a $200,000 guarantee.

The Main Event, which features live coverage from the PokerNews team, starts on Friday, March 1 with a 6 p.m. flight and there are two more chances on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Survivors from all three flights will return on Sunday at 12 p.m. to play for their share of the $300,000 guarantee and a RGPS Destination RunGood ring.

The Rundown

The six-day series gets started on Tuesday, February 27 with the $250 Seniors Ring Event at 10 a.m. for the 50-plus crowd. After that, the $250 Series Opener Ring Event will kick off with a $10,000 guarantee at 1 p.m. before the Opening Night Guest Bounty Ring Event at 7 p.m. for $200. As always, special guests and RGPS Ambassadors will be on hand with bounty envelopes that hold RunGood Apparel store credit or $1,000 cash.

Also starting on opening day are the $100 Flip and Go opportunities. These tables will run on demand and winners of each flip will return on Friday, March 1 at 11 a.m. for Day 2.

The rest of the schedule includes highlights like Wednesdays $250 DeepStack Ring Event with two opening flights and a $50,000 guarantee. Thursdays DeepStack restart will go at 12 p.m. and its followed by a $300 One Day NLH Ring Event with a $20,000 guarantee, as well as a Double Green Chip Bounty for $250 at 7 p.m.

PLO players can jump in the $300 ring event on Friday at 12 p.m. and a $300 Ladies Event will follow at 1 p.m. with a $10,000 guarantee.

Satellites are available throughout the weekend for the Main Event and Sundays finale will wrap up with a $200 Turbo NLH Ring Event at 10 a.m. and a $400 Black Chip Bounty Ring Event at 1 p.m.

Last Time in Tunica

RGPS last stopped in Tunica last November, when Jack Keller beat a field of 661 entries to win the top prize of $62,826. Runner-up in that tournament was Brian Winter, who remains at the top of the Player of the Year leaderboard after his impressive performance on tour throughout 2023.

After Tunica, RGPS will take the show to the First Coast of Florida for a series that will run from March 14-24 at bestbet Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Main Event will run from March 21-24 with three flights and a guaranteed of $300,000 for the $1,200 buy-in.
